Business Health Program - physicals, drug testing, functional capacity assessment, worksite health promotion.

Cardiopulmonary Services - EKG, stress testing, cardiac rehab program, EEG, respiratory therapy, pulmonary function testing.

Educational Programs -programs designed to educate the community on health-related concerns.

Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging- magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone densitometry, CT scanner, mammography, ultrasound, CAD, ECHO, teleradiology and ultrasound.

Emergency Services Department - 24-hour, Level IV Trauma Center, staffed with physicians providing emergency medical care.

Food and Nutrition Services - nutritional assessments, care plans, diet counseling.

Information Technology - technology at Jefferson Memorial is well above that of similar size hospitals. Electronic medical records allow for better access to patient information and helps to increase the quality of care provided. Jefferson Memorial has also participated as an Alpha and Beta test site for several health care studies.

Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit - a 6 bed unit, specially trained staff.

Home Health Care - health care and services provided in the patient's home.

Laboratory /Pathology Services - chemistry lab, blood bank, hematology department, serology/immunology testing, toxicology department, microbiology lab, complete anatomical and surgical pathology services.

Medical Records - Health Information Management.

Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Unit - a 30-bed unit, staffed by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.

Medical Education - we are a community teaching hospital.

Neurodiagnostic Laboratory - diagnosing a wide range of sleep disorders.

Obstetrics Unit - family centered maternity care featuring birthing rooms, rooming-in, sibling visitation, prenatal classes, epidural service.

Outpatient Surgery - video endoscopies, chemotherapy, minor local excisions, cataract surgery.

Patient Accounts Office - assist patients with various financial matters including insurance claims and billing issues.

Patient Education - assist patients with general insulin administration, diabetic education, cardiac rehab education, nutrition education, and ostomy education.

Pharmacy - patient medications, drug resource information center, consultations.

Quality Improvement - hospital wide quality assessment, risk management, utilization review.

Rehabilitation Services - modern therapies for rehabilitation including: physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy.

Skilled Nursing Unit - a l0-bed skilled nursing unit designed for inpatients who no longer need acute hospital services, but require specialized nursing, rehabilitative or restorative services.

Social Services and Discharge Planning - assists patients and their families with emotional and psychosocial needs, pastoral care program.

Support Groups - monthly support groups include cancer, alzheimer, stroke, cardiac, and diabetes support groups.

Surgery -laparoscopic, orthopedic, and cataract surgery; pre-anesthesia assessment clinic.

Volunteer Program - adult and junior volunteer programs.
