Drug Testing
- Urine drug testing — donor provides specimen, we send it to our contracted reference lab, then notify your company of the results. All specimens are also tested for adulterants. We will help you choose the testing panel that best meets your needs. All of our urine drug screen collectors are trained and certified according to federal guidelines.
- Urine drug test collection — a "collection only" procedure is when we collect the urine specimen from the donor and send it to the employer's designated lab. The results are sent directly to the employer or the employer's third party administrator. Business Health Services does not handle the results in these situations.
- Hair drug test collection — we can collect a hair specimen from the donor and send it to the employer's designated lab for testing.
Breath Alcohol Testing — Certified breath alcohol technicians administer a non-invasive procedure to test for the presence of alcohol.
Audiometry — We offer hearing screenings at our facility and on location.
Immunizations — These include flu, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A and Rabies vaccinations and TB screening.
Respiratory Program — We offer a complete OSHA-compliant respiratory program. This program includes review of OSHA's Medical Determination to Wear a Respirator, with respiratory exams, pulmonary function tests and chest x-rays as required.
Lab Tests — Urinalysis, lead levels, zinc protoporphyrin and other tests by request.
Physical Exams — We offer pre-employment physicals, DOT (Department of Transportation) physicals and customized physicals to meet each company's needs.
Injury Management — We provide rapid intervention and frequent follow-up, with the goal of returning the employee to full duty as soon as safely possible. Work restrictions are evaluated at each appointment and modified or lifted as appropriate.
Random Computer Selection — We can administer your company's random drug testing program by using our computerized random selection process. We also offer a Consortia Program for companies that have employees who are subject to DOT guidelines for random drug and alcohol testing.
Health Screenings — Screenings such as cholesterol and blood pressure checks are offered in conjunction with The Wellness Center at City Hospital..
On-Site Services — Most of our services can be offered at your location for greater convenience.
Travel Medicine — Services include immunizations, physical exams and prophylactic medications. We follow the CDC recommendations for travel medicine, as indicated for each country.
