MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – West Virginia University Hospitals-East will sponsor a community pediatric screening day on Friday, August 6 from 12 noon until 4 pm in the rehab services department located in the McCormack Center on the City Hospital campus.
The free testing is aimed at detecting potential therapy needs in children aged birth to six years old. Licensed pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapists along with an audiologist will be on site to perform the screenings.
No appointment is necessary as the testing is being offered on a first come, first serve basis. On screening day, participants should enter through the McCormack Center’s main entrance and proceed to the rehab services department on the right where staff will be available to provide further instructions.
