This care is provided by Jefferson Memorial Hospital surgical outpatient and clinical staff under the direction of surgical services and includes:
- Small invasive surgical procedures such as: mole removal, suture removal and dressing changes.
- IV medication infusion therapy

The outpatient department also provides support to the surgical department for same day surgery recovery in a quiet semi-private room under the supervision of highly skilled registered nurses. The staff ensures patient comfort while informed on post surgical care instructions and information.
